Fat Kate (Polish: Gruba Kaśka) is unique water supply construction firts time in the world created by Polish engineer Włodzimierz Skoraczewski . Started to operate in 1964 after 11 years of construction, it collects water from pipes placed approximately 6 meter below river bottom to Saska Kępa water Treatment station.
